ANDOVER COLLEGE CELEBRATE BANDS SUCCESSFUL HMV PERFORMANCE

Hollow Afterthought – HMV Southampton 7/2/25

Whilst some bands might be busy celebrating their debut single receiving its 10,000th stream, Hollow Afterthought kicked off the promotional campaign for second single ‘Missed’ with an instore at HMV Southampton before following it up with a support slot in the city on Slackrr’s current tour at iconic venue The Hobbit’.

Their hour long set clearly made an impression as the aisles filled to watch the Andover four piece show why they’ve made such significant strides in a very short time period.

Course Leader for Music Ashley Wassell said: ‘Believe it or not, these shows are far trickier than standard gigs, you can see everyone’s faces and there are always moments that you cant plan for. Hollow Afterthought did a great job and despite the success of Good Intentions (their first single) they have learned a huge amount from that experience and are working hard to make the release of Missed even bigger. I’m really proud of them’.
