Foundation Skills

The foundation Skills Academy programme is designed for those who don’t have any GCSE results, may have lower grades or a learning difficulty.  The Skills Academy programme will be tailored to your needs from Entry 2 to Level 1. All of our study programmes are designed around the preparing for adulthood agenda.

The whole Skills Academy programme is designed to: 

• Help you focus on achieving your English and maths and ICT qualifications. 
• Develop your employability skills. 
• Give you the opportunity to try enrichment activities or technical skills.  
• Help you choose the right course to progress towards your goals.  

We are passionate about helping our learners move into the world of work and so we have developed our curriculum to include a work based study programme. These are available to suitable students who have previously studied one of our programmes in Foundation.
