The workshop has plenty of space for learning and you learn to build within the boundaries and make use of the space. I found it really easy to learn with the staff here.
Bricklaying
Skilled tradespeople are in demand meaning that now is the time to develop your technical skills and get into the Bricklaying industry. You’ll learn from industry professionals in our £3.9m Technology and Future Skills Centre using the latest equipment. You will learn how to set out buildings to ensure they are the correct size, shape and in the correct place. You will also construct foundations, build in doors and windows, build feature work and build garden walls.
During your Bricklaying course you will learn about the different types of drawings used in Construction and how to communicate on site. You will gain a general knowledge of construction including types of foundations, floors, walls, roofs. You will also look at the impact construction has on the environment and techniques used to counter balance it.
