Open Events

Andover College recently had their November Open Event which was buzzing with visitors.

Andover College are celebrating their successful Open Event which was filled with keen prospective students and their parents. The atmosphere of the evening was incredible with Student Ambassadors helping to show the guests around the college and give their thoughts and experiences of the college.

Throughout the evening there were talks from Julie Milburn, Principal Designate, and Ben Stokes, Assistant Principal. They spoke to the guests all about the history of Andover College and what the college is all about.

The college offers support for all their students and set them up for their future education and careers. On the day of the open event the college’s Head of Careers, Carol Allen had arranged for a representative from Oxford and Cambridge universities come in to the college and help a group of students with their interview preparation for those prestigious higher education institutions. Carol Allen, was then on hand throughout the evening to give people of all ages guidance about their next steps in education or work.

Andover College prides itself on the personalised support offered each individual student by its academic and support staff, with small class sizes, a dedicated team of Pastoral tutors and our Wellbeing team, ensuring all students get the attention they need. This results in the college being consistently in the top 5% of all the colleges in the country for the last three years and meaning that all students are successful in going beyond their initial targets to fulfil their true potential.
