ISVC: Unlock the Skills Needed for a Digital & Green Future
Whether you’re looking to progress at work or develop new skills, the Innovation South Virtual Campus (ISVC) brings together free online training and courses to deliver support and learning to help employers fill skills gaps in their businesses.
Funded by the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (EM3 LEP) and in collaboration with regional colleges and universities, this innovative resource offers a suite of courses ranging from Competitor Analysis to Web Development; Cyber Security to Software Development.
In support of key skills priorities identified by employers, the ISVC online platform will make available a range of new, free-to-access courses, particularly aimed at SMEs and including:
- Business to Business Sales
- Carbon Literacy
- Retrofitting
- Sustainable Land-based skills
These courses are made possible thanks to a collaboration of colleges across Hampshire and Surrey being awarded £2.7m as part of the Strategic Development Fund (SDF) from the Department for Education (DfE). Eight colleges, including Andover Campus, will be jointly delivering skills for green technologies including those in Land-based sectors, Ultra Low Carbon Vehicles and retrofitting.
