Andover College Fundraises for Comic Relief 2026
Students at Andover College are once again coming together to support Comic Relief 2026, raising money for vital projects that help people facing poverty and hardship across the UK and around the world.
On Saturday 7 March, a team of students from the College’s Healthcare department will be taking fundraising to new heights as they tackle the Hangloose Zip Line at Bluewater, stepping outside their comfort zones in support of the national charity.
Andover College has a proud history of supporting Comic Relief year after year, with previous challenges including climbing the O2 Arena, collectively raising over £2,000 for the cause.
Back on solid ground, the wider college community will also be invited to get involved through a programme of fundraising fun and games, giving students and staff the opportunity to support the charity while enjoying activities such as sumo wrestling, Teachers in the stocks, bake sales, penalty shoot-out, tombola and raffles.
Rachel Cox, Health and Social Care Lecturer and event organiser, said:
“Fundraising for such a worthwhile charity brings the whole Andover College Community together to put our core values into practice and gives our students the opportunity to support the most vulnerable people in our Society, as well as around the world”
We wish the Zip Line team the very best of luck ahead of their adventure.
Donations of any size are warmly welcomed to support the students’ efforts and the important work of Comic Relief. If you would like to contribute, please visit our fundraising page:
