Our Uniformed Services courses offer an exciting and immersive introduction to this diverse and vital sector – perfect for students wanting to protect, support and make a real difference.

As well as all the equipment in our new state-of-the- art Fitness Training & Performance Centre on site, learners can make use of the facilities at Andover Leisure Centre, further enhancing their training opportunities. Our students can also join the Combined Cadet Force where activities include weapons training, drill, shooting, fieldcraft, adventure training and first aid, and gain invaluable knowledge and experience life within the services, as well as a recognised qualification APC (Army Proficiency Certificate). Industry-relevant learning includes:

• Visits to local military bases like the Queen’s Royal Hussars in Tidworth and RAF Odiham
• Leadership Challenge Days and service-related sporting events such as the Career Inspiration Day at the Grand Military Gold Cup Day at Sandown Park Races
• Opportunity to complete a week of work experience with the British Army
• Guest speakers who share real-world insights into life in all the uniformed public services
• The opportunity to investigate your own crime scene using real‑life CSI resources.

Andover students are now working in roles such as police constable, RAF drone pilot, RAF Weapons technician, firefighter, Royal Marines commando, British Army soldier, NHS nurse, paramedic, dog handler, Royal Navy submariner and military police officer, as well as progressing on to apprenticeships or university.

The Army, Navy and RAF have been targeted with increasing their numbers by 30,000 New Recruits by 2030
