Music at Andover College prepares students for careers in the industry in a variety of different forms. Through the practical performance skills of Music Performance through to Music Technology Production. Students will be pushed to developed their performance skills in a variety of different performance environments throughout the course such as performing in Local Venues, Performance Evenings at College and also as the live band during the annual College Pantomime. 

Our outstanding department has dedicated facilities including: 

  • Six rehearsal rooms fitted out with drum kits, amplifiers and microphones 
  • A recital room with a baby grand piano 
  • Two studios 
  • Industry-standard multimedia suite with Logic Pro X recording software and more! 

So whether you see yourself producing music, planning events or playing Glastonbury Festival, we will give you the grounding you need to make it happen.

The lecturers here are really good, they have industry knowledge which they pass down to us, so we know what it’s like to move into the music industry and what to look out for. My plans are to go to university to further study Music Performance.
