Whether studying alongside other subjects or taking one of our vocational courses there are opportunities for you to move either directly into employment or progress onto further study and Higher Education. Our lecturers have both professional and academic qualifications in a wide range of Health and Social care settings and up to date professional practice is a focus for all our staff as it enhances your learning.
In the past three years those who have applied for nursing, dentistry, primary teaching, psychology, criminology and social work have achieved a place at universities including Leeds, Kings College and Southampton.
A component of the Health and Social Care courses is work placement. This allows you to develop your knowledge and practice in a real life setting, giving you an advantage when taking your next steps.
