Geography and Environmental Science

Understanding our world and how we, as humans, impact upon it has never been as important as it is now. The world and its environment is changing. Whilst Geography and Environmental Science explore lots of complex issues that we must understand. They delve into the natural elements of the world such as the atmosphere, land and oceans, how the earth was formed and how it is changing over time.

Students studying Geography or Environmental Science have lots of opportunities to gain an understanding of how these subjects translate into the real world. There is an extensive range of trips to places such as London and Isle of Wight which allows for the development fieldwork skills.

Geography, English, and Politics A Level

The small class sizes were a really big attraction, as well as the high grades and results Andover has produced. I have really enjoyed the lively classroom discussions and will always remember the teachers and how friendly and approachable they are. The Careers department have also really helped me consider my future, offering support and access to resources. I would like to go to university to study international development or a course in a similar human geography field.
