Hattie
Law, Criminology and Psychology
Since studying at the college I have become independent and confident. This is all down to how caring and supportive the teachers are, especially about your mental health as well as your work.
Criminology
Criminology is becoming increasingly popular and we are more inquisitive about why people commit awful crimes. As society is changing and so is crime, we look at questions such as what is crime, why do people commit it, and what can we do to stop it.
Industry-relevant learning includes:
- Talks from the Youth Commission, Police Officers, Probation Officers and Victim Support
- Visits to Parliament, the Supreme Court, Winchester Crown Court and local universities
- Analysing a crime scene
- Behind-the-scenes tour of Winchester Crown Court
