Coffee, cakes and conversations
Sparsholt College Group has been working hard to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of the Great Big Coffee Morning Campaign.
Our wellbeing team at Andover college hosted a delicious bake sale this afternoon to raise money as part of our Coffee, Cake and Conversations week.
Thanks to everyone’s support, we’ve been able to raise a very impressive figure, currently sitting at just under £300 across campus so far!
Our wonderful staff were hard at work baking all the tasty treats in the lead up to this event. It was lovely to see all our staff and student’s make their way to the Wellbeing hub to donate and chat with each other.
The bake sale really highlighted the strong sense of community here at Andover College. Some of our students even donated extra funds so that students who couldn’t donate could still enjoy a cake. We couldn’t be prouder of our students for the support they showed to Macmillan Cancer Support, but also to each other.

Cancer has affected the lives of so many people within our college community… Sadly, we also know that many people within our college community have faced, or are currently facing, their own battles, either personally or through someone they care about. If, together, we can raise even a small amount to support the work of Macmillan, it will make a difference.
