Andover College students Performed Cinderella at The Lights

Andover College’s Performing Arts department showcased their talents in the Christmas performance of Cinderella, which was performed at The Lights, Andover on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 December.

The annual pantomime is an event all those at the college look forward to each year. Students had been intensively rehearsing for the performance which brings many of the college’s departments together to work on the show. The Performing Arts, Music and Dance students worked together on various parts of the performance and Stage Management students oversaw control of the set design, lighting and sound for each of the shows.

Head of Performing Arts, Rob Collier said: “Panto is always an exciting time of year at Andover College and the college has a long history of delivering strong performances for the local area. We were delighted to be back performing at The Lights last year. It is an aspect of the year that we always look forward too. The collaboration between different areas is always a strength of the Panto. The Stage Management, Dance and Performing Arts students all work as a company. This is something that we are always proud of. We hope that you had as much joy from joining us in Pantoland as we have had creating it.”
