Andover Campus Celebrates its Achievers
Sparsholt College Group’s Andover Campus spent the night celebrating its students’ dedication, ambition and persistent hard work at its annual Achievers’ Awards at The Lights Theatre on Tuesday 24 June. The awards highlight the college’s holistic and personalised philosophy which goes into the education of every single student.
The Achievers’ Awards is a culmination of all the hard work and dedication that students, staff and parents showcase throughout the academic year at Andover College. Their results are a powerful indicator of the quality of teaching and support the college provides and demonstrating that students are getting the most out of their time at Andover College.
Ben Stokes, Vice Principal said: “The 2025 Andover Achiever Awards were a wonderful celebration of our students’ talent, hard work and ambition, supported by their families and our dedicated staff. It was a proud moment to reflect on their success and bright futures.
We were also excited to launch the High Achievers Project, working with local feeder schools on impressive student submissions across criminology, digital, social sciences and science. It gave future students and their families a glimpse of the high standards we uphold.
At Andover Campus, we remain committed to educational excellence—clearly reflected in every award winner.”
Our Guest of Honour, Justin Fairweather – an alumnus of Andover College – reflected on his time as a student, describing it as a moment of being “dusted off and encouraged to go again.” Accessing advice and guidance when picking his A Levels, he said, was the best decision he ever made, with the unwavering support from staff playing a key role in his success. Justin also highlighted the importance of seeking help, using available resources, and never being afraid to ask questions as some of the most valuable lessons he learned during his time at the college.
Alexander Lindley, joint winner of the Core Studies Award alongside his brother Anthony, reflected on his time at Andover College after moving to the UK from Indonesia in 2023:
“It’s been wonderful—I don’t think there are any words to truly describe it. I started my journey here with no qualifications and worked my way up from Level 1 Automotive. With some hard work I progressed to the qualifications that I really want. Andover has prepared me for both my personal and professional life.
My advice to anyone is: don’t give up. Just keep going. It’s hard, but don’t give up—no matter what.”
The Personal Achievement Award recognises a learner who has made tremendous progress and effort to reach excellent standards and this year was awarded to Sasha Broome
