It combines engineering physics and maths with the principles of design, manufacture and maintenance of electrical systems. It is widely recognised that the UK needs more engineers to help it remain at the forefront of a vast range of industries.

This T-level course has been developed in response to this demand and will help you develop the underpinning knowledge alongside practical skills obtained both at College and in Industry.

Five GCSEs at grade 9–4, including English, Maths and Science

You will learn how to analyse and interpret engineering and manufacturing requirements, systems, processes and technical drawings and propose and design electrical and electronic engineering systems, products and solutions. Working to a clients brief, you will learn how to communicate proposals and design solutions using your skills gained through understanding specialist digital software, electronic equipment to test solutions in the laboratory.

Assignments, course work, practical and online multiple choice assessments at the end of each unit.
