 In this course you will learn the skills and theory needed for progression to the Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Service and Repair. You will have a keen interest in motor vehicles, a willingness to work hard and learn in both a practical and theory environment. You will have the opportunity to go karting twice in the year as a team building activity. 

Four GCSEs at grade 9–3, including Maths and English.  

 

You will learn the practical skills and theory that you will need for entry into the automotive industry or progression on to the Level 2 Diploma.

 

Assignments, course work, practical and online multiple choice assessments at the end of each unit. 

 

Progression to Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles, or Apprenticeship

 

£30 for Textbook and £25 for overalls 

 

You will go on a number of field trips and excursions such as trips and visits designed to enhance your enjoyment of the course, broaden your knowledge and encourage team spirit including:  

Mercedes World 

Karting 

Beaulieu National Motor Museum 

 

We have a fully equipped motor vehicle workshop complete with a comprehensive range of vehicles, tools and equipment as well as an excellent welding and fabrication facility.
