What will I learn?

Introducing the process of lambing to prospective or new sheep handlers to maximise the health of their lambs and ewes. The day covers the signs and onset of lambing, assisting a ewe during lambing and providing after-care for both ewe and lamb to maximise health, and the lambing kit required.

Entry Requirements

Minimum age is 14 to enrol onto this course.

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to:

· Existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course
· Learners aged 19-24 with an EHCP
