Junior Pottery

What will I learn?

Let your child get hands-on with clay and discover the magic of making!
Our junior pottery class is a fun, supportive five-week programme designed especially for young makers aged 8-11. Across five one-hour sessions children will learn exciting pottery skills whilst building confidence, creativity and imagination.
What they’ll do
explore different hand-building techniques and character pieces
learn how to shape, join and decorate clay
experiment with texture tools and pattern
finish their pieces to take home and treasure.
This course is playful, creative and packed with opportunity to try new things. Children will be encouraged to think like young makers to express their ideas in clay.

All fees are correct at the current time and may be subject to change.

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course.
