What will I learn?
The key aspect of the Extended Project Qualification is the freedom you have to explore. Through the Extended Project Qualification, you will develop and explore a range of your skills as an independent learner in a subject of your choice. This allows you to develop skills that can range from research and project management to control and analytical skills. It is a qualification highly recommended by universities and employers.
You will have a project supervisor who will offer you guidance and feedback, and the topics covered will be entirely of your choosing. These could include:
- Prose fiction
- Prose non-fiction
You will complete a final creative piece of your choosing (for example, book of poetry, children’s story) along with a reflective logbook documenting the process you followed throughout the course. A final presentation is completed that provides opportunity for question and answer so that others can understand how you were able to produce your creative project.
