Education and Childcare – Foundation Programme – T Level
This foundation programme is designed for you to progress onto the Level 3 T Level in Education the following year and will suit those interested in working
with children. Work experience is a key element to the course, as you will have the opportunity to work in a pre-school, school or day nursery allowing you to put the theory into practice
This qualification prepares learners to become Early Years Educators and enable them work with children between birth and 5 years with knowledge of children up to the age seven in a variety of Early Years settings such as nurseries, preschools and as child minders.
Assessment will come in different forms. In some instances, you will undertake exams to test core skills whilst practical skills test will help assess your occupational specialism. With T-levels, your work placement employer will also help by ensuring you cover key areas within your placement which will help prepare you for assessments.
Level 3 T Level in Education
The T-level qualification provides ample opportunities to experience different work settings through the industry placement element of the course.
