This full-time dance course will enable those who are truly passionate for dance to train in numerous styles and techniques, exploring a range of stimuli and studying the choreographic principles used to create dance work, producing trios, duets, solos, and performance with installation and group dances. You will develop your performance skills and dance technique through studying a range of dance styles including ballet technique, contemporary, international dance, Jazz, hiphop, commercial, musical theatre and many more.
This course also provides an intense exploration of dance as an art form and is designed to lead to a career in dance. You will learn repertoire, researching and directing material to create emotive dance work to perform in front of an audience and enter into dance competitions if part of the team.

In year one you will gain a BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Dance (equivalent to 1 and a 1/2 A Levels).
In year two you will gain a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance (equivalent to 3 full A Levels).

University or Dance School to achieve a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance or Performing Arts or there are various career routes.
You will go various trips, including: Disneyland Paris and West End London, We also host workshops with professionals, guest speakers and touring of competitions
You will rehearse and perform in our very own 100 seat theatre, drama studios and mirrored dance studio. We are also located on the doorstep of the Lights Theatre which plays host to numerous productions and our annual Arts Festival.
