Andover College’s Football Academy has been running for many years and is an integral part of the Sports department as well as Andover Town Football Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are studying one the Level 3 BTEC Sport courses or A Levels at Andover College, then you will have the option to be able to train and play within the Football Academy, alongside your main study programme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n You will train three times per week and be involved in a comprehensive match programme, which includes FA Youth Cup, Conference Youth Alliance League, the Hampshire Colleges Football League and the South West Counties Youth League. All training sessions will take place at the Portway Stadium. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You will be required to purchase your training kit which is approximately \u00a3160.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Whilst studying with the Football Academy, you may be able to take on extra qualification, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate
\u2022 Football Development Tour (international football)
\u2022 FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate (available only via selection)
\u2022 Pitch side first aid
\u2022 Two weeks work experience in the sports industry
\u2022 Optional Active IQ Level 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
