Design is embedded in everyday life, everything around you is designed by someone. It can be architectural, interior or product based, transport, print based, digital or for set and stage.
“We live in a world where design makes a significant contribution to our lives, from the toothbrush we use first thing in the morning to the transport we take, the buildings we work or live in and the magazine or advertising we come across. Everything around is designed by someone and much of it is designed in the UK.
Studying design opens opportunities, it can strengthen and widen skills in perception, observation, critical thinking, problem solving and communication. These skills are transferable and vital to our current and future lives, amongst all this studying design is exciting, fast moving and innovative.”
