Marketing – BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate/National Diploma
Working within Business provides an exciting opportunity such is the diverse nature of the industry. Large multi-national corporations contribute significant wealth to the global economies whilst small and medium Enterprises provide many entrepreneurs with the chance to start their own business and create a unique brand. Marketing plays an integral role regardless of the size of the organisation. This Marketing course will give learners an insight in to event management, marketing and entrepreneurial skills so that they are well positioned to have a successful role in the business sector in a wide range of roles.
The qualification covers an extensive range of units mapped around developing skills and an understanding of marketing, event management and entrepreneurship. These units include:
- Marketing an Event
- Digital Marketing
- Branding
- Creative Promotion
- Marketing Principles
Learners will be set a range of tasks to complete for each unit so that they can develop a portfolio of work including the organising and staging of different events. Alongside this, there are a number of mandatory, external assessments that learners will be required to undertake.
The qualification will allow progression on to higher levels of study or direct employment in to industry.
A wide range of guest Speakers will be invited in to discuss their experiences and business, linking to various units on the qualification. There will also be a range of trips to local business to explore the functionality and successes of their companies.
You will be taught in our Andover Sixth building and will have access to many different facilities, including: 2 study centres, a Library, A canteen and the Careers Hub.
