From School – Five GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English and Maths
From College – Pass in a relevant Level 1 BTEC Diploma together with a controlled assessment. English and/or Maths at level 1 or higher
Esports – BTEC Level 2 Certificate
The course covers a wide range of units including Esports Games, Teams and Tournaments, establishing an Esports Organisation, Streaming for Esports and Plan for an Esports Event. Successful completion of this course makes the Level 3 Esports course a natural route of progression.

Assessment is through coursework and an online exam.
Successful completion of the programme with a Merit grade or higher makes a level 3 qualification a natural route of progression. You could also explore related apprenticeships or look to start your career at a junior level however it is important that you also gain your GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
You will have various guest speakers from the industry come in throughout the course.
You will have access to Computer rooms with industry standard software, a hardware and software lab and a VR room with VR Headsets.
