What will I learn?
This is the starting point for those of you who wish to be a Beauty Therapist and will allow you to gain the basic knowledge required to go into the workplace, however, completion of Level 3 is always recommended in order to become a senior Therapist and widen employment opportunities.
You will be able to enter into national competitions, attend additional optional workshops e.g. ear-piercing, spray tanning, airbrush make-up, trips to find out about careers, cruise ship visits, study tours to Spa’s abroad, work experience initiatives, community projects and tasters in new products and techniques.

We provide extracurricular enrichment such as: competition and show work, visits to industry shows, work experience with community projects, tasters in new products and techniques through our Aspire week and face painting activities during Lambing weekend at Sparsholt, our sister college.
What grades will I need?
Four GCSEs at A* to D/9-3 (including English, Maths and/or Science) or two GCSEs at A*- D/9-3 (including English and/or Science) and a Level 1 qualification in a related subject)

Where will it lead me?
• Level 3 NVQ Massage
• Level 3 NVQ in Beauty Therapy
You could begin practising as a Junior Beauty Therapist within a salon or a health spa, or from your own premises.
