AS Statistics is a new qualification designed for students who would like to study a numerate post-16 subject but not wishing to study pure mathematics. It helps to develop students’ mathematical skills and thinking and supports courses such as A-level Psychology, Biology, Geography, Business Studies and Economics as well as technical and vocational qualifications.
