This is an intensive year of study, with no end exam, but many assignments presented throughout the year. You will study up to twenty modules, with each one formally assessed through means of a marked assignment that can be in the form of an essay, presentation, report or group discussion. This prepares you for the demands of higher education assessment methods.
This course runs one external trip a year, to Winchester University, where they hold an Access to Higher Education Taster Day where queries about fees and funding can be answered, regardless of what university you wish to go to.

Grade C/5-4 in GCSE English or Level 2 Functional Skills (Literacy)

Skills, knowledge and understanding are transferable to many different humanities based employment such as: Primary or Secondary School Teachers, Advertising, PR, Counsellor, Lawyer, Arts, Journalist, Historian, Writer or Linguist.
