Our new £3.9 million Technology & Future Skills Centre opens September 2016. The modern two storey building will provide the best teaching and workshop space for our Construction, Motor Vehicle and new Electrical courses.
The centre, which is co-funded by the College’s strategic partners – the M3 Local Enterprise Partnership, Hampshire County Council and Test Valley Borough Council, will see a valuable investment being made in the development of advanced technical skills essential for a thriving economy.
College Principal Tim Jackson said: “This is a much needed investment in developing the skills needed in our community. With the rising profile of science and technology in our education system, young people in Andover will now have the chance to develop the theoretical and practical skills that employers want. We already have an incredible track record of success in our Motor Vehicle engineering department with many of our students progressing to university to pursue specialist subjects such as motorsports engineering and we know there will be many more opportunities as a result of building this specialist facility.”
Applications for courses are open now. Click on the links below for more information or come along to our next open evening and meet the specialist team leading this exciting project.
