London Institute of Banking & Finance University welcomes Andover College students

Ten students studying AAT (Accounting), Business and DipFS (Financial Studies) visited the London Institute of Banking & Finance University.

The trip kicked off with an interactive quiz where Andover College students came 1st and 2nd respectively out of 47 students who attended from other colleges. Throughout the day, students were given an overview of the degree programmes, student experience, careers and employability in Financial Services.

The final lecture was given by the inspirational Dean of the University, Peter Hahn, who covered the development of banking through the years. Peter has had an impressive career where he was not only a Managing Director of Citibank but was also a consultant for the Bank of England, Santander, Lloyds Banking Group and many other banks within the UK.

The students came away with an insight into future career prospects in the Financial Services sector and the qualifications which can be achieved.
