Principal Tim Jackson said: “Andover College has a proven track record and with results now up there with the best in the area we are increasingly becoming the first choice for many local students.  We are also renowned for our personal approach, caring support and guidance which is proving a winning formula in producing confident students and high levels of achievement.”

As former straight A student Catherine Upfold who is off to the University of Bath to study Chemistry said: “It’s been really supportive and friendly at Andover and I get the best out of myself in that kind of environment. I have achieved great results here.”

The open evenings are ideal for academic high flyers, such as Catherine to look around the dedicated Sixth Form building. The College offers more than 40 A Levels and has a proven track record of getting students in to their university of choice. Andover prides itself on the talented and experienced staff providing expert teaching and although high importance is placed on achieving top results, there is also a very strong focus on personal development, so students are genuinely prepared for life after college. The High Achievers’ programme stretches and stimulates the most able of students so they can continue to aim high and reach their full potential.

Those looking for a more hands-on course will enjoy a tour around the vocational based training facilities which include Sport, Music, Hair and Beauty and the Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Creative and Performing Arts department.
