In the last seven years we have created an amazing college with fantastic facilities, high standards of teaching with a proven track record of high achievement, culminating this year with our best ever results. There really is no reason to travel out of town when there is this first class provision in the heart of Andover”.

However, this is not without the tremendous support the tutors give to all the students, tailoring advice to every individual’s needs from an academic perspective”.

A Russell Group university also beckons for Matthew Selwood who is off to the University of Bristol to study Physics with Astro-Physics. This morning he was delighted with his AAA in Physics, Maths and Further Maths. It is the extra time Andover College lecturers give to students which made the difference to Matthew, who said: “The class sizes at Andover College have been really beneficial as you get more time with the lecturers which provides a good learning atmosphere”.

Tabitha Bowman’s A*ABB in Mathematics, Communication and Culture, English Language and Further Maths secured her place at a top University to study Mathematics. Commenting on the personal learning approach at Andover College she said: “The lecturers are the best, taking their time to accommodate everyone’s needs and class sizes are small enough to get lots of one-to-one time with them”.

Head of Faculty for 6th Form, Ben Stokes enjoyed celebrating with the students today and said: “We have a dynamic team of enthusiastic teachers who know the students individually and work to build self-belief and self-esteem as much as their theoretical and practical knowledge. This is a winning formula as evidenced today with these incredible results.  Happy motivated students achieve naturally and superbly and the class of 2016 did just that!”
