Course Fees

Under 19?

Students from the UK and European Economic Area do not pay tuition fees or examination fees for government funded further education courses, as long as they are under 19 on 31st August in the year in which their course begins.

Over 19?

All students over 19 will be liable for tuition, examination and an extra curricular activities fee unless they are eligible for the "remission" of tuition fees. Please click here for details. If you need further help, contact Student Services on 01264 360030.

24+ Advanced Learning Loans

From August 2013, 24+ Advanced Learning Loans will be available to learners aged 24 and above to fund many Level 3 and 4 courses such as A Levels, BTEC Certificate/Subsidiary Diplomas, Extended Diplomas, Access to Higher Education Diploma and Apprenticeships. Examination and Registration Fees

All examination entry and NVQ registration fees are in addition to the tuition fees and are payable at the time of application. Remission is not available for these fees.

Full Cost Courses

Some course are not funded or subsidised by the goverment. Tuition fee remission does not apply to these  courses. If you are not sure whether your course is funded or "full cost", call Student Services on 01264 360014.
