Andover College offers a taste of business success

Andover College has joined forces with the University of Winchester and Basingstoke College to bring Andover a step closer to a Higher Education provision. To launch this initiative, taster sessions to introduce Andover businesses to the University of Winchester MBA (Masters in Business Administration) programme are being held at The Lights Theatre on Saturday 24 July 2010 (click here to download a flyer).  The College is encouraging Andover companies to register for one of the free taster sessions to experience first hand the strategic benefit of investing in their most talented employees.

MBA’s are renowned internationally as the leading business and management qualification.  The University of Winchester’s MBA focuses on Leadership and Change and Principles of Responsible Management. Should enough Andover businesses recognise the benefit of this programme for their key employees and business, then the University would look to deliver this MBA locally.

Ralph Stratton, Director of Commercial services at Andover College said: “Through this partnership with the University of Winchester and Basingstoke College we are now able to bring a wider range of High education opportunities to Andover. Delegates attending the free taster sessions will look at ‘Leadership’ which explores future scenarios for businesses to consider and the leadership of these in a more uncertain world. ‘Managing Information for Decision Making’ is a fundamental tool for any business leader. This session looks at how delving beneath both financial and management accountancy information can identify the main qualitative characteristics of useful financial intelligence.
